Information the app may access or process

9 Flip Launcher may access or process the following information only when needed for features you use, settings you enable, or purchases you manage.

Installed apps information

The app may read installed app names, icons, package names, launch activities, install order, app categories, selected shortcuts, recently installed apps, and recently opened apps. This is used for cover-screen app launchers, groups, icons, search, sort, favorites, and Recent Apps features.

Notification and media information

If you enable Notification Access, the app may read active notification information such as source app, title, text, icon, timestamp, badge signals, notification actions, active service signals, and media session details. This is used for cover-screen notification cards, badges, supported notification actions, media controls, active app indicators, and media artwork features.

Accessibility information

If you enable the 9 Flip Launcher Accessibility Service, the app may process limited system UI information such as Android accessibility events, window state, view IDs, and visible system UI text from Android system UI, Samsung Launcher, phone UI screens, and supported settings surfaces.

This information is used only for selected cover-screen controls, including gestures, Recent Apps shortcuts, Home and App info shortcuts, selected system actions, Samsung cover screen controls, quick panel helpers, overlay behavior, and hiding 9 Flip Launcher overlays during system or call screens.

9 Flip Launcher is not an accessibility aid and does not claim to be designed primarily for users with disabilities.

Overlay, foreground service, startup, and device state

If enabled, the app may show cover-screen overlays, run foreground services, restore user-enabled behavior after restart, read cover-display state, and keep selected cover controls responsive. Android may show a persistent notification while foreground services are active.

Images, GIFs, videos, wallpapers, and files selected by you

If you choose custom AssistiveTouch icons, cover wallpapers, GIFs, videos, or media artwork-related wallpaper behavior, the app may access only the files you select and store local copies in app storage so those features can work.

App settings and preferences

The app stores settings such as selected apps, groups, icon choices, wallpaper choices, layout settings, sort settings, gesture settings, permission status, notification display choices, brightness, volume, sound, vibration, rotation, haptic, auto-dismiss, media background, and Premium state.

Purchase and subscription information

If you buy Premium, restore a purchase, change plans, redeem a code, or manage a subscription, purchase status and subscription state may be checked through Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled by Google Play and are not collected by 9 Flip Launcher.

Free usage limits

Some advanced features may include limited free uses, such as supported Recent Apps launches, notification opens, media actions, advanced controls, AssistiveTouch icon customization, or cover wallpaper actions. The app may store local quota state so it can count remaining free uses and show a notice when free uses are used up.

How information is used

• To show selected app shortcuts, widgets, app groups, Recent Apps, and launcher layouts on the cover screen.
• To open apps, supported notification actions, App info, system settings, Home, Recent Apps, and selected quick controls that you choose.
• To show notification cards, badges, active service information, media controls, and media artwork behavior.
• To support gestures, AssistiveTouch, overlay behavior, cover-screen rotation helpers, haptics, quick controls, and wallpaper features.
• To save your local preferences and restore your chosen setup.
• To count limited free uses for selected advanced features and show a notice when those uses are used up.
• To unlock, restore, change, or manage Premium features through Google Play.
• To maintain app security, reliability, abuse prevention, and legal compliance where required.

Data sharing and transfer off device

9 Flip Launcher does not sell personal or sensitive user data.

9 Flip Launcher does not use personal or sensitive user data for advertising, ads personalization, analytics, or profiling.

The app is designed so cover-screen feature data such as installed app lists, notification content, accessibility events, selected files, custom images, wallpaper files, local preferences, and quota state are processed on your device for enabled features.

Google Play may process purchase, subscription, tax, fraud prevention, and payment-related information when you use Google Play Billing or manage a subscription. That processing is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies.

We may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, enforce our rights, protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, or respond to valid legal requests.

Permissions and sensitive access

Some features require Android permissions or special access. You can choose whether to enable them. Features that need disabled access may not work until you turn that access on.

• Accessibility Service: used only after your affirmative consent to support selected cover-screen controls. It may access limited system UI information as described above. It is not used to read passwords, payment fields, private messages, photos, contacts, files, or screen recordings.
• Notification Access: used to show active notifications, media sessions, badges, active services, notification actions, and media controls on the cover screen.
• Display over other apps and accessibility overlays: used to show cover-screen shortcut menus, AssistiveTouch, indicators, recents zones, rotation helpers, and helper overlays. This access does not allow the app to read other apps' private content by itself.
• Installed apps access: used to build launchers, selected shortcuts, app groups, recently installed apps, recently opened apps, icons, search, and sorting.
• Foreground service and startup behavior: used for user-enabled, user-visible cover-screen helper features such as rotation, gestures, shortcuts, notifications, media, and responsive cover controls.
• Battery optimization exemption: optional; used to help cover-screen services stay responsive after the phone sleeps.
• Vibration and audio settings: used for haptics, sound/vibration controls, and volume-related quick controls.
• Wallpaper and selected media access: used when you choose images, GIFs, or videos for custom icons, cover wallpaper, or supported media-art wallpaper behavior.
• Internet: used for app links, legal pages, Google Play related flows, and other user-requested external destinations where supported.

Accessibility Service disclosure

9 Flip Launcher uses Android AccessibilityService only after you choose to enable it. It supports cover-screen gestures, Recent Apps, Home, App info shortcuts, selected system actions, Samsung cover-screen controls, quick panel helpers, and overlay behavior.

The service may access limited system UI information, including accessibility events, window state, view IDs, and visible system UI text. This data is processed on this device only for the enabled cover-screen features. It is not sold, shared, or used for ads, analytics, or personalization.

The service is not used to read passwords, payment fields, private messages, photos, contacts, files, or screen recordings. It does not autonomously make open-ended decisions on your behalf.

Notification Access disclosure

If you enable Notification Access, 9 Flip Launcher reads active notifications and media sessions so it can show cover-screen alerts, badges, media controls, active service information, supported actions, and media artwork behavior.

Notification information is used only for the notification and media features you enable and is processed on your device for those features.

Data retention and deletion

Local settings, quota state, and feature data remain on your device until you delete them, reset the related settings, uninstall the app, or clear app data in Android settings.

Custom icon and wallpaper files stored by the app can be removed by changing or resetting the related settings where supported, deleting saved wallpaper entries, uninstalling the app, or clearing app data.

Google Play purchase records are retained and handled by Google according to Google Play and Google Payments policies. 9 Flip Launcher does not store your full payment card details.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information handled by the app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

9 Flip Launcher is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for use by children without appropriate parental or guardian supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International users

If you use the app from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, United States, or another region with privacy laws, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection, or restriction under applicable law. Changes to this policy
